Minecraft Adds Copper Golems and Shelf Blocks in Autumn Drop
Mojang Studios has rolled out the autumn game drop for Minecraft, bringing back the community-favorite Copper Golem as a buildable mob. Players can craft the golem from copper blocks; it wanders near placed chests and automatically sorts matching item stacks, oxidizing slowly over time until it eventually freezes in place.
Shelves change storage forever
The drop also adds oak, birch, and cherry shelf blocks that display up to three items and are activated with a simple right-click, giving builders new ways to decorate bases and shops on multiplayer realms.
The update is live on Java and Bedrock editions, and a matching education lesson pack about oxidization will be free for classrooms this term. Community builders have already started sharing golem-sorting warehouse tutorials.
