Genshin Impact Version 5.9 Adds Lantern of Nine Realms Festival Event

HoYoLab has detailed the Lantern of Nine Realms event arriving with Genshin Impact Version 5.9 on 28 October. The limited-time festival runs until 18 November and features lantern-lighting puzzles across the Liyue coastline, a new co-op trial domain, and a score-tracking arcade mini-game.

Rewards on the table

Players who clear all event stages earn 960 Primogems, a Hero Wit bundle, and one free four-star Liyue character of their choice, including the newly buffed Yanfei. A themed namecard and wind glider skin are locked behind the final challenge stage.

The update also reruns the In the Fires of Deep Reflection banner alongside quality-of-life changes such as faster artifact loadout swapping and an expanded teapot furnishing inventory.
